Leadership Conference

At the leadership conference we listened to four speakers. What I learned at the leadership conference is that never give up and keep trying until you achieve your goal. The speaker that inspired me most was Paora Winitana. He said being a part of a family is important and that you get the most support from them in everything that is sensible. If you work together in a group you can get your work done faster but if you do it all by yourself it is going to take longer. This is not only useful with work but with almost everything you do.

The playground is coloured light blue like the sky.  Its body was like a car driving down the road. The roof of the playground looks like a shed to me. The slide looks like a horseshoe as I go down it. The other slide is like a water slide. When I drink the water I am drinking nice, cold, healthy water.

Art Work

This is my art work that I did in class. One box was done in charcoal the next was Indian ink the next one was done in oil pastels and the last one was done in dye. I chose four castles from cartoons to draw.

Descriptive Writing

This term we are writing descriptive pieces. We are using Figurative language. Here is an example from an image I choose.Discriptive

Flowers splash the scene as the spring sun arrives. Dolphins jump out of the waters happily as the sun comes around the corner. The crystal clear water sparkles in the sun.  Bright sun turns yellow, brighter that lava. Dolphins wave hello as we pass by. Everyone who sees the sun know it was the start of a new beginning. Waters splash like the sound of drums.
